Innsbruck comments

Malin:

Another of these areas with lots of small ski resorts. None of them particulary big. We tried Axamer Lixum where one side is just a long black run, where the Olympic games downhill took place 1976 (or ??) but the otherside is okay, not very big.  We also tried out Stubaier wich is just above Neustift. As the snow conditons in the lower part of the valley were non existing we had to take a cable car up and down. On the top you have an excellent begginer/blue area at the top of the glacier where you can ski all through the summer (wich I did 1984 or something like that). Not big but okay area unless you are an expert, as then you will be bored after two days.

Steve:

Both of us had a good time at Stubaier. It was just what we needed, lots of easy runs to perfect your technique. Axamer was a bit of a tough one master, but the city of Innsbruck was definitely worth a visit.
